These individuals have long lasting ongoing interpersonal problems with family members, love relationships, co-workers and/o bosses. They have problems with impulse control, self-esteem, boundaries, ways of interpreting other people's behavior and so forth. They experience intense distress as a result and many times they do not realize they have a problem. Often times others (e.g, friends and/or family members) advise them to seek therapy.
